The Cornfield pumpkin is traditionally grown as a companion to corn in fields. It is also a popular choice for fall decorations. The fruit is flattened with a sturdy stem. It also has thin skin and typically grows to about 10 to 15 pounds. For best indoor results, transplant after the last frost in 12" hills about 6' apart. Allow 8 to 12 hours of sun. Approx. 90 days to maturity.
