The Noir Des Carmes melon is a cantaloupe variety, developed by French monks in the 1800's. This melon has a sweet flesh and is ripened once it turns from deep green to green and orange. For best yields 6 to 12 hours of sunlight is recommended. Approx. 75 to 90 days to maturity.
