The Anaheim Pepper is originally from New Mexico.  It was cultivated by Fabian Garcia and his students at New Mexico State University, in the 1800s. The Anaheim pepper is one of New Mexico's state vegetables, though it is a fruit.  It is commonly used in southwestern cuisines and is loved for its flavor and mild heat. It's Scoville Heat Units range from 500 to 2,500 units.  This pepper grows well in warmer temperatures.  For best results allow 8 to 12 hours of sunlight. Approx. 75 to 80 days to maturity.
