The Early Fortune cucumber is a deep green, sweet, crisp variety that is a favorite among gardeners. This cucumber can be pickled, or sliced and added to a salad. The fruit is about 7 to 8 in. in diameter, and grows on a vine. For best results plant indoors before the last frost, then plant outdoors in the soil at around 60 degrees. 8 to 12 hours of sunlight is recommended. Approx. 60 days to maturity.
