Emily Basil is a compact version of the classic Genovese variety, which makes it perfect for container gardening. It lasts noticeably longer after being cut from the stem, which also makes it popular at farmer’s markets. It has the same great taste as the Genovese basil with better stability. For best results allow 8 to 12 hours of sunlight. Approx. 50 to 75 days to maturity. Photo courtesy of Baker Creek.
