It is cold hardy and will overwinter in most growing zones. For best results plant in flats about 1/4 in. deep with two to three inches of space in all directions. After the last frost and the ground is workable, transplant into loose soil. Allow 8 to 12 hours of sun. Approx. 60 to 80 days to maturity.
