The Tokinashi turnip is a cold hardy variety, that has a smooth, crisp and sweet flavor. It is a favorite in Japan, and is great raw, or pickled. This variety of turnip can be planted in the early spring indoors then hardened off and planted outdoors. It will also grow well in the fall, through the winter months. For best results allow 6 to 12 hours of sunlight. Approx. 50 days to maturity.
